We've been obsessing over denim for years, perfecting our newest collection further to ensure it checks all the boxes: expert tailoring, modern details and 100% European denim that molds to your body over time.

BUT don't necessarily trust our taste automatically. Let us share first how we go about about finding our pair of dream jeans.

Focus on Fit

When searching for that perfect pair, remember there’s no one-size-fits-all approach—pay attention to key factors like waist size, rise, inseam and leg width, which all impact how jeans look and feel on your unique figure. Experiment with various cuts—a casual yet elevated wide-leg style like our Linda Jeans, or the ever-flattering fit of our classic Francis Jeans—to discover what makes YOU feel the most comfortable and confident. There is no real standardization when it comes to jeans and that what makes the search so fun (and, yes, a bit challenging...).

As Eva puts it: “It's important to identify the look and fit you want. Be experimental and try different styles to find your choice. I love loose, wide-leg jeans in a light wash for a full-on relaxed feel (sizing up our Linda can achieve this) or a cropped straight- or barrel-leg for a refined look (like Stevie or Monique with booties!). ”

Dive into Dyes 

The wash of your denim can completely transform your look. While a timeless blue wash never fails (as seen in our beloved Leroy Jeans), innovating the classics can also mix up your wardrobe to your advantage. At Marcella, for example, we revamped our cult-favorite Rowan Jeans in a faded black wash for a tinge of edge and gave our McCarren Jeans a stark white wash for a pristine finish against her raw-edge details. And when you can't decide between washes? If you're feeling truly daring, maybe go for both? Like with our Christina Two-Toned Jeans, with contrasting light and dark denim split down the legs for a modern twist.

Eva: “Lighter washes with more treatments read casual, while darker washes with fewer treatments can feel dressier. I don't believe in strict seasonality—a good pair of white jeans can really brighten a winter outfit with a neutral sweater and boots. I personally like timeless washes that feel "opinionated" - it makes styling with my jeans more interesting. Meaning unique washes like with the Christina Two-Toned Jeans, or simple but sophisticated washes like with the McCarren Jeans in blue.”

Dress for the Occasion

Eva: “If you can only pick one essential jean for the season, I recommend getting the McCarren Jeans. I'm obsessed with how they complete an outfit with the Hannah Blazer and a stylish top or simple button-down underneath. Or you can also effortlessly style them to amp up the chic with heeled boots and basic long sleeves with a statement coat (see Elizabeth in cream).”
